Askernish Golf Club
Laid out by Old Tom Morris in 1891. During its early years the course would have been used to entice visitors to the island, as a form of sport to be enjoyed along with the traditional persuits of fishing and shooting. A decline in golfers, for many reasons, resulted in the course not being maintained. It has been changed and modified over the years but still remains one of the must natutal golf courses and a true links expereince.
